Mount Meru Hotel is situated in Tanzania’s safari starting point - Arusha town and has a perfect view of the fifth highest peak of Africa - Mount Meru. The hotel is located perfectly in between two airports - Kilimanjaro and Arusha, and it’s easy to get here from both. In just an hour and a half of driving, you can reach Arusha National park, which is the only park in northern Tanzania where walking safaris are allowed. Drive a bit further to visit Kaskazi horse stable to implement your first horse safari or stay in the town to explore Arusha’s National Heritage Center and local markets and souvenir shops. If you are seeking for something that would remind of your trip, ask your driver to pop in a Tanzanite shop and check out some jewellery.
