Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Lodge can boast an absolutely superb location in Ndutu - a stretch of land connecting Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Serengeti National Park. The rules of Ndutu Region allow off-road driving, which means that here you will be able to observe animals much closer than designated roads would permit. The endless short grass plains interspersed with acacia trees make an iconic landscape for a safari.
The lodge features wonderful spacious tents furnished with redwood furniture and four-poster beds. The front wall is made of glass leaving you the chance to enjoy uninterrupted views of the savanna, be it dawn or sunset. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with 2 showers, one indoor and one outdoor, so you can always choose between home-like comfort and exotic sensations of a shower in the open air. In the common area you will find a fireplace to warm you up on a chilly evening and create a cozy romantic ambiance in the midst of total wilderness.

Every year from December till April Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Lodge is the place to be! Huge congregations of migratory animals such as wildebeest, zebras and other ungulates come here with the onset of the rainy season in search of water and fresh green grass. Wildebeest calving season comes to Ndutu in January and lasts till March. It is a unique time when you can observe the intimate act of nature when animals give birth to and take care of their younglings.
