Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Lodge

Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Lodge can boast an absolutely superb location in Ndutu - a stretch of land connecting Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Serengeti National Park. The rules of Ndutu Region allow off-road driving, which means that here you will be able to observe animals much closer than designated roads would permit. The endless short grass plains interspersed with acacia trees make an iconic landscape for a safari.

The lodge features wonderful spacious tents furnished with redwood furniture and four-poster beds. The front wall is made of glass leaving you the chance to enjoy uninterrupted views of the savanna, be it dawn or sunset. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with 2 showers, one indoor and one outdoor, so you can always choose between home-like comfort and exotic sensations of a shower in the open air. In the common area you will find a fireplace to warm you up on a chilly evening and create a cozy romantic ambiance in the midst of total wilderness.

Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Lodge offers a varied menu with delicious meals and can cater to all possible meal preferences. It is also an eco-lodge running on solar power and supporting electricity generators, so you can be sure that absolutely no harm will be done to the environment during your stay.

Wow!...This is the place I've always imagined - and never knew existed until now!
Before I rave about the location and accommodation -- let me first rave about the staff -- specifically the Chef and his team around the restaurant the pool area. Not only is the food and service unexpectedly good for such a remote location, but the genuine kindness and compassion of this crew left a powerful impression on us. Beyond that, the accommodation is very comfortable, and we enjoyed watching zebra and buffalo grazing around our tent. Along the lake front we encountered giraffe, lio...
    A must!
There is not much to say about this property - simply excellent! From the beginning all the staff was very friendly and attentive in a genuine way. The restaurant was amazing and they also organised a special dinner by the fire for us being celebrating our anniversary. The room was wonderful, spacious and clean. Needless to say we did enjoy our stay!
    highly recommend. beautiful!
I was lucky enough to stay here- excellent!! friendly staff, good food and very clean, couldn't ask for anything more. Couldn't be more pleased with the location- so close to the action! really takes 'camping' to a better, higher level!
    excellent guest relations
my husband and I stayed at this lovely tented lodge reserved for us by 4x4 Adventures on our first evver Africa safari, the season had picked up with lots of gnu and predators though the roads were a nuisance due to the heavy rains..the check in was a bit ackward as it did not seem welcoming with the reception having a chair for registration and my partner had to sit at the back seats (prefered we were sat together being a couple!) The welcoming staff seemed somehow rude making us feel unwelcome...
Nice mix of luxury and close to nature
We loved our stay at Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Lodge and don't know where to begin... The tented rooms are amazingly comfortable, with tented walls but a front out of glass for perfect views from inside if you don't want to sit on your private balcony. Behind the bedroom area is a walk through closet followed by a saloon door which leads into the spacious bathroom. We found the bathroom special as it had two showers: one inside and one outside! The room also had a minibar and extremely fast wifi...

Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Lodge on the map

Every year from December till April Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Lodge is the place to be! Huge congregations of migratory animals such as wildebeest, zebras and other ungulates come here with the onset of the rainy season in search of water and fresh green grass. Wildebeest calving season comes to Ndutu in January and lasts till March. It is a unique time when you can observe the intimate act of nature when animals give birth to and take care of their younglings. The rest of the year is the dry season in Ndutu, when the migratory animals recede to Serengeti leading the crowds of tourists away up north. This quiet time provides ample opportunities for exclusive viewing of resident animals that stay here the whole year round. Elephants, all kinds of antelopes, giraffes, hyena, genets, serval cats, caracal and
